Potato Waffles

Potato Waffles are crispy and delicious, and it only takes 3 steps to make them! These waffles are most suitable for those with a relatively higher protein allowance. Please consult the Nutritional Information tab below to see if this recipe is suited to your or your loved one’s diet.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 stick (57 g) butter
  • 1 onion (160 g), finely chopped
  • 1 large (210 g) apple, peeled and finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 800 g (about 5, 2-inch diameter) baking potatoes that are peeled, boiled and mashed
  • 50 g (about 7 Tbsp) Loprofin Baking Mix
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Method:

  1. Melt the butter in a pan and cook the onion, apple, and garlic for 5 minutes or until softened.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the mashed potatoes, Loprofin Mix, salt, and pepper. Add in the onion, apple, and garlic mixture and stir to combine.
  3. Form into 8 potato patties. Cook them on a greased waffle iron for 5 minutes.

Note: Store leftovers in the fridge and use within 3 days.
